• Serafino BDX 2013

McLaren Vale is no pretender in its ways with cabernet in good years, and in the best hands it will impress as much as it does here in a Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Carmenere and Cabernet Franc cocktail that pours deep set, dark fruits and cassis in a warmer and richer mode than cooler regional styles. To taste it is eloquent, balanced and pleasing, the oak supportive while the finish has underlying power with a gentle exit. Review by Tony Love
