If you want to enjoy the classic flavours of Barolo without the hefty price tag, you cannot go past a great Nebbiolo d’Alba, and boy, do we have one for you! We absolutely love this wine – its elegance, its complex perfume of tar and roses, its refined structure and body. On the palate there is a delicate balance of intense dried herbs and flowers, supporting the dark red fruit flavours and velvety tannins. As with all the great wines of this region, it is best enjoyed with food – we recommend a slow cooked lamb or veal dish, or anything with mushrooms.
