Lagrein is an Italian red grape variety native to the valleys of South Tyrol, northern Italy. Serafino under their Bellissimo range are producing some very exciting wines along with Tempranillo, Sangiovese, Nebbiolo, Fiano and Pinot Grigio.
Medium to full bodied with rich, red berry fruit, elegant oak with fine persistent tannins. This Lagrein can be enjoyed with most food styles and particularly complements Mediterranean dishes.
