Lifted aromas with classical aged oak rancio characters, fruitcake, dark chocolate and hints of roasted walnuts all integrated together seamlessly with a freshness contradicting age. The palate is very complex with raisins, fruitcake, dark chocolate and vanilla prominent with hints of liquorice also apparent.
The wine has spent a minimum age of 20 years in small oak casks. These years spent maturing, combined with 6 generations of fortified winemaking experience ensures that the wine is consistent in its style and quality year in, year out. The wine is fully matured and ready for immediate enjoyment.
