Macedon Rose is salmon pink, delicate in flavour, dry finishing and an ideal aperitif.
"As per our other 'Macedon' sparkling wines, Macedon Rose is made using a non vintage blend of base wines, made from pinot noir and chardonnay from our own vineyard, dating back to 1987. The base wine spends an average of 4 years on yeast lees in barrel before being tiraged bottled. Each one of our 'Macedon' sparkling wines starts from this base.
Our 'Macedon' Rose is aged on-lees in the bottle for a minimum of 12 months. A couple of drops of Pinot Noir are added to the wine at dosage to give the wine its salmon colour." HR
