The nose shows aromas of freshly buttered toast with lemon curd and there are hints of cashews, brioche and lime marmalade.
The palate shows both generosity and finesse, with a fine, creamy mousse. There are flavours of honey, green mango and grapefruit and there is a persistent, crisp, dry finish. This current release has already started to mellow gracefully, and will continue to do so for several years to come, yielding those further hints of honey and toast which are typical of mature Riesling.
The wine was bottle fermented and aged on lees for 30 months.
