Wine Fair Terms & Conditions
1. Booking and Payment
- All bookings are subject to availability and confirmation.
- Full payment is required at the time of booking.
- Prices are in AUD and include GST (unless stated otherwise).
- We reserve the right to refuse any booking without reason.
2. Age Restrictions and Identification
- Participants must be 18 years or older to attend (Tasmanian law prohibits supplying alcohol to minors).
- Valid photo ID (e.g., Australian driver's licence, passport, or Keypass) must be presented on arrival. No ID = no entry, no refund.
- Proof of age may be requested throughout the event.
3. Cancellations, Refunds, and Transfers
- Cancellations made more than 30 days before the event: full refund (minus any processing fees).
- Cancellations within 14 days: no refund, or partial refund at our discretion.
- No-shows: no refund.
- Transfers to another date/session may be allowed subject to availability and a fee.
- We recommend travel insurance for unforeseen circumstances.
4. Event Changes or Cancellation by Organiser
- We reserve the right to change the date, time, venue, or program due to unforeseen circumstances (e.g., weather, staffing, or minimum numbers not met).
- If we cancel the event, you will receive a full refund or the option to transfer to another event.
- We are not liable for any additional costs (travel, accommodation) incurred due to changes.
5. Alcohol Service and Responsible Service
- All staff involved in serving alcohol hold a current Tasmanian-approved Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA) certificate.
- We adhere to responsible service practices. Service may be refused to anyone who is intoxicated, underage, or behaving inappropriately.
- You must not bring your own alcohol to the event.
- Consumption is limited to the event premises/ designated areas.
- We encourage responsible drinking; transport options (e.g., designated driver, taxis, or shuttles) are recommended.
6. Health, Safety, and Liability
- Participation is at your own risk. Wine tasting involves alcohol consumption, which can impair judgement and coordination.
- You release the organiser, venue, and staff from liability for any injury, loss, or damage (including from alcohol consumption) except where caused by gross negligence or wilful misconduct.
- Inform us in advance of any allergies, dietary requirements, or medical conditions.
- The venue and event areas must comply with health and safety standards; follow all instructions from staff.
7. Code of Conduct
- Respectful behaviour is required. Disruptive, aggressive, or unlawful conduct may result in removal without refund.
- No smoking/vaping except in designated areas.
- Respect the property and other guests.
8. Photography and Media
- Photos and videos may be taken during the event for promotional purposes.
- By attending, you consent to your image being used in marketing materials (you may opt out by notifying staff).
9. Privacy
- Your personal information is collected for booking and event purposes and handled in accordance with the Australian Privacy Principles. See our full Privacy Policy.
10. Tickets and Entry
- Tickets are non-transferable (or transferable only with approval).
- Lost tickets: entry may be refused unless proof of purchase is provided.
- Entry is subject to venue capacity and conditions.
11. General
- These terms are governed by the laws of Tasmania.
- Any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of Tasmanian courts.
- We may update these terms; the version at the time of booking applies.
- Force majeure: We are not liable for events beyond our reasonable control (e.g., natural disasters, strikes, pandemics).
