Sourced predominantly from a single beautiful vineyard in the Eden Valley this wine demonstrates the heady combination of purity, power and elegance of which Shiraz is capable. Blended with fruit from the the Schrapel Vineyards, Homestead block planted along the contours of the Barossa Ranges.
Tasting notes
Purple with bright crimson highlights. Pure and lifted aromatics of blackberry, dried herbs and olive tapenade make a compelling and layered nose. The palate displays a balance of rich, pure fruit expression along with fine grained tannins that build a strong supporting framework. Savoury and nuanced flavours of clove and biscuit spice mingle through the fruit and add length and complexity to the finish.
