This is a Montepulciano with spades of fruit and spice, which is classical for this variety. The nose is filled with an abundance of berries with cherry and cranberry at the forefront. The palate continues this fruit drive for a moment before the tannin and spice take over with cedar, cinnamon and other woody spices coming through. The finish is bright with just a touch of grippy tannin.
